一、學(xué)院簡介

海南大學(xué)國際旅游學(xué)院聯(lián)合國際旅游學(xué)院于2017年5月獲教育部批準(zhǔn)成立，是海南省第一個(gè)中外合作辦學(xué)機(jī)構(gòu)。學(xué)院的創(chuàng)辦是貫徹落實(shí)習(xí)近平總書記視察海南時(shí)重要講話精神，落實(shí)《國務(wù)院關(guān)于推進(jìn)海南國際旅游島建設(shè)發(fā)展的若干意見》要求，主動(dòng)服務(wù)國家對(duì)外開放戰(zhàn)略和海南國際旅游島建設(shè)，推動(dòng)海南大學(xué)“雙一流”學(xué)科建設(shè)、加快提升國際化辦學(xué)水平而采取的一項(xiàng)重要舉措。學(xué)院于2017年9月開始招生，設(shè)置3個(gè)本科專業(yè)：人文地理與城鄉(xiāng)規(guī)劃、酒店管理和行政管理；2個(gè)碩士專業(yè)：公共管理和旅游管理。

學(xué)院注重中外融合的國際師資團(tuán)隊(duì)建設(shè)，學(xué)院師資團(tuán)隊(duì)由合作方派遣、海南大學(xué)派遣以及全球招聘三個(gè)來源組成。正逐步打造一支以外籍教師與海外歸國人才為主體、教學(xué)與科研能力強(qiáng)的國際化、高水平師資隊(duì)伍。現(xiàn)有教職工50人，專業(yè)教師100%有海外知名高校博士學(xué)歷，其中50%以上為外籍教師，來自美國、新西蘭、德國、加拿大等十多個(gè)國家。行政人員70%以上有海外留學(xué)經(jīng)歷。

國際旅游學(xué)院融合東西方教育理念，突出國際化、創(chuàng)新型、跨學(xué)科特色；采取“雙學(xué)籍”“雙學(xué)位”“4+0”的培養(yǎng)模式；以服務(wù)于海南自貿(mào)港建設(shè)和海南大學(xué)“雙一流”學(xué)科發(fā)展需求，培養(yǎng)通曉國際規(guī)則、具有跨文化交流能力及國際競爭力的行業(yè)領(lǐng)軍人才為目標(biāo)；努力建設(shè)更開放、更融合、更有韌性的高水平中外合作辦學(xué)機(jī)構(gòu)。

Faculty position in Human Geography and Urban & Rural Planning

Professor/Associate Professor/Lecture (Tenure-stream/Global hire)

The HNU-ASU Joint International Tourism College of Hainan University (HAITC) is Hainan's first Sino-foreign cooperative institution as approved by the Ministry of Education of China in May 2017. The establishment of HATIC is an implementation of the spirit of the important speech made by General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee President Xi, to develop world-class disciplines with an improved level of international education in Hainan Province. It’s enrollment began in September 2017, and currently both bachelor and master programs are offered to worldwide students. Three bachelor programs include: Human Geography and Urban & Rural Planning, Hotel Management and Public Administration. Two master programs are: Tourism Management, and Public Administration.

 

HAITC integrates eastern and western educational concepts, highlights international, innovative, and interdisciplinary characteristics, and adopts the training model of "dual degrees", "dual status" and "4+0", aiming to serve the development of the Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP) and HNU's "double first-class construction". HAITC is striving to become a more open, integrated, and resilient high-level Sino-foreign cooperative institution and to cultivate industry leaders who are familiar with international rules and have cross-cultural communication capabilities and international competitiveness.

The faculty team of HAITC has been drawn from three sources: recommended by partners,Arizona State University; from Hainan University; and global recruitment. HAITC is gradually building an international, high-level faculty team made up of foreign teachers and overseas returnees with strong teaching and scientific research capabilities. There are 50 faculty members. All full-time teachers have degrees from well-known overseas universities, and more than 50% are foreign teachers from more than 17 countries. More than 70% of administrative staff have overseas study experience.
