Hannah Rae’s research focuses on elucidating the molecular mechanisms that drive the ancient horticultural technique, plant grafting. In collaboration with Prof. Yanhong Zhou from the Institute of Vegetable Science, Hannah Rae’s current project focuses on understanding how environmental signals influence graft compatibility and how grafting can be leveraged to improve horticultural traits. We are recruiting postdocs for this on-going project, which covers a diverse range of techniques such as molecular biology, genetics, microscopy, and data analysis. The requirements for the candidates are as follows:
1. Have a PhD in plant biology or a closely related field with advanced molecular biology experience. Candidates with experience in microscopy or grafting will be given greater consideration.
2. Have good health, no older than 35 years old, and have high English proficiency.
3. Have a good publication history, and preference will be given to candidates holding a doctoral degree from a domestic key university, domestic high-level discipline, or top overseas universities.
4. Willing to work in a bi-lingual research environment, assist team members, and help to mentor younger students.

漢娜博士，浙江大學(xué)農(nóng)業(yè)與生物技術(shù)學(xué)院蔬菜研究所“百人計(jì)劃”研究員。美國(guó)康奈爾大學(xué)獲博士學(xué)位，英國(guó)約翰-英納斯中心博士后。在國(guó)際頂級(jí)期刊（The Plant Cell、New Phytologist、Horticulture Research、The Journal of Experimental Botany等）上發(fā)表多篇SCI論文，參與多項(xiàng)國(guó)際合作研究，其研究成果曾被《科學(xué)》雜志報(bào)道。
漢娜的主要研究方向?yàn)橹参锛藿拥姆肿訖C(jī)制。目前正與蔬菜研究所周艷虹教授團(tuán)隊(duì)合作，研究環(huán)境信號(hào)如何影響嫁接親和性及分子機(jī)理，以及如何利用嫁接來(lái)改善園藝性狀。因課題需要，現(xiàn)招聘博士后研究人員2-3名。要求如下。
1. 擁有植物生物學(xué)或密切相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的博士學(xué)位，并具有高級(jí)分子生物學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)。有顯微鏡使用和植物嫁接經(jīng)驗(yàn)的候選人優(yōu)先。
2. 身體健康，年齡不超過(guò)35歲，具有較好的英語(yǔ)水平。
3. 具有優(yōu)秀的論文發(fā)表經(jīng)歷，擁有國(guó)內(nèi)重點(diǎn)大學(xué)、國(guó)內(nèi)高水平學(xué)科或海外一流大學(xué)博士學(xué)位者優(yōu)先。
4. 具備在在英漢雙語(yǔ)環(huán)境中工作的能力，協(xié)助課題組長(zhǎng)，幫助指導(dǎo)學(xué)生。
