學院設有5個本科專業(yè)，2個一級學科博士點（材料科學與工程、光學工程）、1個自設交叉學科學術(shù)博士點（健康工程）、3個專業(yè)學位博士點（材料與化工、電子信息、生物與醫(yī)藥），5個碩士點（學術(shù)型碩士：材料科學與工程、光學工程、健康工程，專業(yè)型碩士：電子信息、材料與化工），建有多個科教平臺：江蘇省功能材料設計原理與應用技術(shù)重點實驗室、智能光傳感與調(diào)控教育部重點實驗室（B類）、江蘇省光通信工程研究中心、激光與光子工程技術(shù)研究中心、微波光子技術(shù)研究中心、儲能材料與技術(shù)中心、環(huán)境材料與再生能源研究中心、南京大學加速器中心等；此外，學院也是固體微結(jié)構(gòu)物理國家重點實驗室、人工微結(jié)構(gòu)科學與技術(shù)協(xié)同創(chuàng)新中心的主要參加單位。學院在南京、蘇州、上海等地還建有若干新型研發(fā)機構(gòu)與成果轉(zhuǎn)化平臺。

2015年，學院入選國家科技部支持的“高校國際化示范學院推進計劃”試點單位，充分開展國際化辦學；2017年，材料科學與工程入選國家一流學科建設名單。學院擁有一支高水平的教師隊伍，總體規(guī)模109人，其中國家級領(lǐng)軍人才20人、四青人才逾50人。學院與美國伊利諾伊大學香檳分校、加州大學爾灣分校、法國巴黎高科等建立了合作伙伴關(guān)系，主持和參與多項國際合作項目，具有較大的國際影響力。

一、招聘崗位設置

南京大學現(xiàn)代工程與應用科學學院擬面向全球招聘有志于從事材料科學與工程、光學工程領(lǐng)域各主要研究方向的優(yōu)秀青年人才到學院工作。本次擬招聘準聘助理教授崗位，招聘總?cè)藬?shù)不超過3人，研究方向包括：

（1）功能氧化物薄膜與器件

聚焦功能氧化物薄膜新材料的新穎物性及其潛在器件應用，發(fā)展原子尺度精確可控的氧化物外延薄膜生長、剝離和精準轉(zhuǎn)移技術(shù)，制備高質(zhì)量氧化物人工微結(jié)構(gòu)，研究應變（梯度）、維度及界面等因素對其物性及關(guān)聯(lián)量子態(tài)的調(diào)控，并揭示其物態(tài)調(diào)控新規(guī)律，致力于低功耗、高密度信息存儲和傳感等器件應用的研究。

（2）基于微納結(jié)構(gòu)的先進光電技術(shù)

面向光電信息領(lǐng)域的國家重大需求，基于微納光學結(jié)構(gòu)探索光場調(diào)控與光子（光電子）集成的新效應、新原理、新工藝，發(fā)展新型集成光電子器件與技術(shù)，并應用于通信與計算、成像與顯示、傳感與檢測等領(lǐng)域。

（3）高效能源存儲材料與技術(shù)

針對儲能技術(shù)在能量密度、壽命、安全性等方面的瓶頸，以關(guān)鍵電極催化和轉(zhuǎn)換材料的設計和創(chuàng)制為切入點，致力于新型高比能量蓄電技術(shù)的新原理、新工藝和新器件方面的突破，研究與開發(fā)面向高能動力電池、規(guī)模化蓄電、氫能存儲等的新能源材料，并發(fā)展相關(guān)應用技術(shù)。

4、出色的教學能力：應具有能夠勝任本專業(yè)核心基礎(chǔ)課程和前沿課程的教學能力，掌握良好的教學方法，具有較強的語言表達能力；

5、突出的科研成果顯示度與未來科研發(fā)展?jié)摿Γ簯邢嚓P(guān)研究方向的成果顯示度，對相關(guān)研究領(lǐng)域有原創(chuàng)性觀點，未來研究計劃思路清晰，具有較好的學術(shù)潛力；

6、截至招聘公告發(fā)布之日未滿40周歲（即指1985年3月6日以后出生），以有效期內(nèi)的身份證件上的日期為準。如申請人已具有副高級及以上職稱，年齡可適當放寬；

7、身體健康。

Tenure-track Faculty Positions in the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences (CEAS), Nanjing University

I. The College of Engineering and Applied Sciences (CEAS)

Since its founding in 2009, the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences (CEAS) in Nanjing University has been pursuing to fulfill its original vision: science-based and engineering-oriented education. We seek an optimal balance between the creation and integration of knowledge through scholarly research, entrepreneurship and innovation in translating the products of our research into practice, and the dissemination of knowledge to our students on the Nanjing University campus and beyond. Since 2019, a new 65,000 m² building for research and education has been put into use to house the academic departments and research centers, embodying CEAS’s global vision and forward-looking plan. CEAS is now aimed to become a world-class college with its research and education focusing on developing cutting-edge technologies and engineering solutions to tackle major societal challenges.

In 2017, materials science and engineering in CEAS was listed as the national first-class discipline. After faculty recruitment and infrastructure expansion, CEAS is poised for significant growth and a rise to a higher standard of excellence. The college won the first prize of the National Natural Science Award once and the second prize three times. It is also a nationwide exemplary college, where internationalization is being implemented in every facet (education, research, administration, faculty recruiting/assessment, and infrastructure), and involves virtually every member of the college (administrators, faculty, staff and students). The college has established several new R&D institutions and achievement transformation platforms in Nanjing, Suzhou, Shanghai and other places. It has also formed long-term partnerships with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, the University of California, Irvine, and Paris Tech, etc., and has hosted/participated in a number of international cooperation projects.

At present, CEAS faculty is composed of 109 professors/associate/assistant professors. Over the recent years, near 50 junior faculty members (including 3 non-Chinese nationals) have been recruited from world-renowned universities or institutions, primarily through national talents recruiting programs.

II. Positions

CEAS is seeking applicants for tenure-track assistant professors (up to 3 vacancies in total). Specific fields of research open for recruitment are:

1. Functional Oxide Thin Films and Devices

2. Advanced Optoelectronic Techniques Based on Micro/nano structures

3. High-efficiency Energy Storage Materials and Technologies

III. Qualifications

The applicant should

1. abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, and show enthusiasm in teaching and research;

2. abide by academic ethics, uphold academic integrity, have no criminal record or record in breaching the ethics of teachers and/or academic integrity;

3. havea first-rate background in academic training—specifically, a PhD in related disciplines, and knowledge of the latest international trends and development in the relevant research field(s); In principle, the applicant for Assistant Professor should have engaged in academic research for more than two years after receiving his/her doctoral degree;

4. have outstanding teaching abilities: the applicant should be able to teach core and frontline courses in the corresponding discipline, and have sound teaching methodology and strong verbal skills;

5. demonstrate outstanding research output and potential—the applicant should have publications in his/her field of research, original ideas about relevant fields of research, a clear vision about future research plans, and good potential for further academic development;

6. be in good health.
